Festive seasons unfold across emerald fairways and dining rooms

The golf club transforms itself each December into a celebration of gathering, tradition and culinary craft. Across the verdant landscape and within its dining spaces, the rhythm of the season unfolds through moments designed to linger in memory: the amber glow of a Christmas tree lighting, the convivial warmth of shared tables, the particular pleasure of ceremonial meals prepared with precision and care.

For those who prefer to bring the season home, the kitchen offers take away feasts of substance and elegance. A turkey, weighing between five and six kilograms and finished to golden perfection, arrives ready for the table, accompanied by all that tradition requires. Alongside it stands a roasted gammon of equal grandeur, dressed with seasonal sides of cranberry sauce and braised red cabbage, each element speaking of considered preparation.

The festive calendar acknowledges that celebration belongs to all ages. Children gather to decorate gingerbread houses, their hands and imaginations at work whilst adults take their ease. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony arrives with its own ceremony: champagne, seasonal pastries and carols sung in the particular spirit of the occasion. On Christmas Eve, the dining room opens for an evening that combines buffet dining with live entertainment and the visits that children anticipate. Christmas Day brunch arrives with similar grace, whether one chooses the house selection of beverages or ventures into the club’s cellar of finer things.

Boxing Day continues the momentum with its own brunch, proving that the season’s rhythm need not diminish too quickly. New Year’s Eve holds its own ceremonial weight. The evening stretches from eight in the evening until well past midnight, carrying with it all the markers of transition: the buffet, the live musicians, the energy of the disc jockey, and the finale that punctuates the Dubai sky with fireworks, that ancient and still arresting language of celebration.
