H. Moser & Cie has drawn once more from the considerable depths of its archive, releasing two watches that speak to different moments in its near two century chronology. Founded in 1828, the manufacture has long treated its own history as a living resource, and these new interpretations confirm that discipline once more.

The Heritage Chronograph White fumé takes its character from the chronographs of the 1940s, a period when the house refined the instrument into something both functional and refined. The dial carries a pale silvery tone, set against blue chronograph indications and a tachymeter scale that recall those earlier instruments. The historic Moser logo sits in its familiar place, a small assertion of continuity. The piece comes as a limited edition of 100 examples.

Alongside it sits the Heritage Centre Seconds Espresso fumé, which revisits an earlier vocabulary altogether: the rounded cases and tapered lugs of the wristwatches that first emerged in the early 20th century. That softer geometry gives way to a warmer aesthetic, the dial rendered in an Espresso fumé tone that deepens with the light. The oversized Globolight® numerals catch and hold luminescence in darkness, a detail that marries utility to a quiet visual presence. This edition runs to 200 pieces.

What matters here is not that these watches merely reference the past. Rather, they embed themselves within an unbroken narrative of craft and proportion that stretches across generations of watchmakers. The fumé dials, with their subtle gradations of colour and depth, represent a technical and aesthetic choice that demands patience in both making and wearing. These are watches that reward the attention of those who understand that luxury endures not through novelty, but through the careful stewardship of what one has already mastered.
