Jacques Marie Mage has opened a gallery at The Village in Pacific Palisades, a contemplative space that moves beyond the conventional retail experience into something far more considered: a curator’s meditation on form, material and meaning.

The inaugural installation, “One Eye on Infinity,” draws five sculptural works by artist Nadia Yaron, whose practice engages with the intersection of the organic and the ethereal. Hand shaped from white oak, ash, alabaster and marble, each form emerges as though nature itself had paused to take breath. Yaron describes her work as creating “a sacred pause” amid the acceleration of daily life, and that quality of stillness becomes tangible as you move through the space, encountering surfaces worn smooth by the artist’s hands, grain patterns that speak to growth and time, the cool density of stone against the warmth of wood.

The installation speaks to themes of consciousness and our place within something vastly larger than ourselves, a philosophical undercurrent that feels particularly resonant within the gallery walls. Light moves across the sculptures as day progresses, subtly transforming each piece, inviting visitors to return and discover new dimensions in the interplay between material and shadow.
The Village location itself offers an appropriately serene setting, removed from the noise of urban commerce yet thoughtfully connected to the rhythms of the community. It is a space designed for those who understand that luxury need not announce itself through transaction alone, but through the quality of encounter and the depth of contemplation offered within four walls.
The gallery operates Monday through Thursday from 11am to 6pm, Friday and Saturday 11am to 7pm, and Sunday 11am to 6pm. The address is 15225 Palisades Village Lane, Pacific Palisades, California 90272.
