The curtain rises on Christmas at Teppanyaki MIZUKI, where the chef’s knife becomes an instrument of precision and theatre unfolds before you at the iron plate. Here, within The Osaka Station Hotel, French refinement collides beautifully with Japanese kappo sensibility, forging a culinary language entirely its own.

Two distinct courses honour the season. The Cloche presentation brings together the rarest Homard Bleu, its delicate flesh prepared with a seven herb sauce, alongside an extraordinary comparison of Matsusaka and Ozaki beef, both revered for their marbling and tenderness. Each slice performs its role in the narrative of luxury dining.

Noël follows with roasted Ise lobster dressed in a truffle scented Américaine sauce, its richness unmistakable. The main event celebrates two exceptional beef selections: the rare Hirano Koji Ushi, known for its singular character, paired with Ozaki beef again. These proteins require no embellishment, yet here they receive the reverence they deserve.

Precision in every motion
The teppanyaki tradition demands mastery. The chef’s hands move with balletic certainty, temperature and timing the only measures that matter. Steel meets fire; ingredients transform before your eyes. This is dining as performance, the kitchen brought to your table, the craft laid bare and glorious.

The sommelier has selected wines and Japanese sake that honour rather than overshadow these carefully chosen ingredients. Each pairing deepens the conversation between glass and plate. For dessert, a Christmas limited creation featuring strawberries completes the evening, a flourish of festive elegance that lingers.

The experience runs from December 19 to 25. Reserve through The Osaka Station Hotel, located at Umeda in Osaka’s railway district, a location that speaks to the property’s distinguished positioning within the city’s commercial and cultural landscape.
