A stage draped in shadow and punctuated by arterial red light holds six numbered motorcycles, each one a statement of engineering confidence. Ducati has arrived at EICMA 2026 in Milan with its centenary collection, rolling out the machines one day before the show’s doors open to the public, a private premiere that speaks to the intensity of what awaits.

The SP Machines: Track Heritage Distilled

The Panigale V4 SP anchors the collection, drawing on the 2027 superbike chassis and pairing its 160 kW Desmosedici Stradale engine with carbon fibre wheels, an STM EVO SBK dry clutch and Ducati’s Racing Gearbox with Neutral Lock. The bike incorporates the Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 electronic suspension and an adjustable rear wheel steering system, enabling higher cornering speeds. All three SP variants are limited edition, numbered machines; each carries additional hardware aimed at improving performance on track.

The Streetfighter V4 SP addresses riders who want the exclusive track hardware without a full fairing, combining a 157 kW Desmosedici Stradale V4 with carbon fibre wheels, an STM dry clutch, racing final drive, adjustable billet footpegs and electronic Öhlins suspension. The Panigale V2 SP draws its World Supersport homologation focus from the 88 kW smaller capacity machine, fitted with Öhlins, forged wheels and dry clutch.

Road, Luxury and Wilderness

The Diavel V4 gains a new S variant with Öhlins semi active suspension, revised electronics and factory customisation, extending the muscular cruiser family. The DesertX Rally and Desmo250 EDS enduro, previewed for 2027, broaden Ducati’s reach into adventure and small capacity territories.

TBD: awaiting image five

The machines stand numbered and patient under Milan’s stage lights, each one a thread drawn from a century of the Italian house’s racing lineage. Those who wish to meet them in person may do so as EICMA opens to the public; Ducati’s stand holds more novelties yet to reveal across the week ahead.
