An exhibition exploring how fantasy, mythology and visual culture have evolved across Asia over three centuries has drawn The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong as a supporter of M+. Myths and Monsters: The Art of Fantasy in Asia unfolds across the West Gallery at M+ until April 4, 2027, drawing on artistic traditions spanning the nineteenth to twenty first centuries.

Anas Bencheqroun, Multi property General Manager, joined cultural leaders and distinguished guests at the exclusive opening celebration, where a projection screen displayed the exhibition’s striking visual identity: geometric patterns in turquoise and purple framing stylised creatures and fantastical forms. The show presents a cross disciplinary showcase of how artists across the continent have interpreted mythological narratives and imagined worlds, evident in the gallery spaces where turquoise walls frame diverse works ranging from a traditional robed figure to dramatic sculptural forms in crystalline relief.

The property sits at the heart of the West Kowloon development, home to M+ museum and the Hong Kong Palace Museum. The hotel occupies floors 102 to 118 of the International Commerce Centre in Kowloon, placing it within walking distance of the museum and positioning it as a natural base for visitors seeking to experience the city’s cultural riches. The setting allows guests to move seamlessly between the hotel’s soaring perspectives over Victoria Harbour and the museum’s intimate engagement with artistic vision.
