Within the tree house at Tevana Garden, AYANA Resort and Spa has created a learning environment where children discover the natural world through direct experience rather than instruction. Green Camp AYANA operates Tuesday through Saturday, each day structured around a different theme that draws young explorers deeper into the landscape surrounding them.

The curriculum unfolds across the week: farm discoveries introduce the seasons and growing cycles; bamboo design and building days teach structural thinking and resourcefulness; a session on responsible consumption explores the relationship between human activity and environmental care; nature explorer days encourage independent investigation of the gardens; and survival day imparts practical outdoor skills. Each experience weaves together observation, making and problem solving, anchored by the materials and creatures that inhabit the gardens.

Accommodation of two explorers minimum allows friendships to deepen the learning journey. The camp includes all activities, materials, snacks and lunch, removing logistical concerns for families. Children may attend single days or commit to multiple sessions; bookings of three days or more receive a ten per cent discount, inviting longer immersion in the camp’s rhythms and discoveries.

The tree house structure itself becomes part of the education. Its soaring bamboo lattice ceiling and open wooden platform sit elevated among the gardens, allowing children to observe wildlife and changing light while remaining sheltered. The setting encourages the kind of unhurried attention that transforms small moments into lasting memory.

Bookings are available through AYANA’s website. The camp operates seasonally, offering families a structured yet organic alternative to conventional school holidays.
