Elegant sterling silver cufflinks featuring a detailed 1.7cm St. Christopher design rest upon crisp white cotton within Deakin & Francis’s luxury presentation boxes. The image speaks of a gentlemanly ritual, of something meant to be held and kept close before embarking on journeys both great and small.

Since 1786, Deakin & Francis have specialised in manufacturing the very best in fine jewellery. For nearly two and a half centuries, this Birmingham atelier has crafted pieces animated by purpose and meaning, and the St. Christopher collection embodies that philosophy entirely. The St. Christopher design is traditionally associated with protection and safe travel, with St. Christopher known as the patron saint of travellers, making these pieces a thoughtful gift for someone beginning a new journey, travelling often, or simply wanting to wear a meaningful symbol of guidance and protection.

The collection spans several forms, each handcrafted to a singular standard. Cufflinks in gleaming silver sit alongside keyrings that link to leather or textiles in a working pocket or bag. Necklaces offer the same medallion in slighter proportions for daily wear. Additional engraving services are available through the house’s hand engraving process executed by in house master engravers, allowing initials or a special date to be added for a personal touch.

Each piece carries the saint’s image in profile, the rim inscribed with the words “Saint Christopher Protect Us” in capitals, separated by small stars and quatrefoil symbols. The flagship store is situated in St. James’s, London, in the heart of the historic Piccadilly Arcade, where the collection can be viewed in full, though the house partners use recycled silver, SMO gold, top grade gemstones, and ethically sourced diamonds certified by the Kimberley Process for all its creations.
