Budd Shirtmakers has expanded its tie collection with a selection of new designs that reflect the quietly refined sensibility that defines the house’s approach to menswear. The cloths themselves are conceived by the creative team at the London studio before travelling to the workroom, where each tie is constructed entirely by hand, a process that ensures the depth and character that distinguishes a properly made necktie from its mass produced counterparts.

The expanded range speaks to a particular understanding of pattern and colour that moves beyond the expected. A slate blue ground carries small geometric motifs in cream; forest green introduces a delicate checked weave; navy is punctuated with crisp white spots. Elsewhere, warm camel tones and deep burgundy offer alternatives to the bolder palette, while black grounds provide essential contrast. Each design has been selected with an understanding that the tie, for those who appreciate craft, remains one of the few garments where restraint and precision of execution matter as much as the finished appearance.
The new styles are available through Budd Shirtmakers at its London location on Savile Row, where bespoke commissions and ready made pieces can be viewed and ordered.
