Marni returns to Hoka for a second chapter of collaborative design

Marni and Hoka have chosen to deepen their creative partnership with a second collection, a decision that speaks to the natural synergy between the Milan based house’s architectural approach to form and the athlete’s footwear brand’s commitment to innovation in motion.

The first collaboration proved something worth repeating: that fashion’s experimental sensibility and the rigorous demands of performance sportswear need not exist in separate universes. Marni’s eye for colour, proportion and unexpected material juxtaposition found genuine common ground with Hoka’s engineering, creating pieces that moved between the everyday and the extraordinary with equal ease.

This second iteration promises to build on that foundation. Where the initial collection explored the meeting of these two design philosophies, the new pieces will push further into territory where utility becomes ornament, where the functional silhouette of a running shoe transforms under Marni’s gaze into something altogether more complex and visually compelling. Expect the colour combinations and sculptural proportions that have become the house’s signature, applied now with deeper intention to footwear that moves and performs.

The collaboration arrives as both houses continue to expand their visual language.
