Lizzie Fortunato’s Resort ’27 collection, Desert Nights, arrives with a palette drawn from the shifting light of desert evenings. The jewellery moves between deep amber, cobalt blue and charred onyx, each stone cut into bold geometric forms that catch and hold the light like small, wearable landscapes.
The collection builds its vocabulary from semi precious materials: carnelian, lapis lazuli and tourmaline sit alongside burnished wooden beads strung on delicate gold chains. The designer has long held an intuitive relationship with natural stone, selecting pieces that carry colour and character rather than uniformity. Here, that sensibility extends to chains themselves, some fashioned with meticulous precision, others wrapped or twisted to suggest movement and tactile warmth.
What emerges is a series of necklaces and charms that read as modern heirlooms: substantial enough to anchor an outfit, yet constructed with a lightness that allows the wearer to move through them rather than beneath them. Rings combine polished gold with clusters of semi precious cabochons. Smaller pieces, designed to layer or wear alone, mix materials with playful confidence: a white enamel sphere threaded on silk cord, a carved wooden bead suspended in gold.
The first drop of Desert Nights becomes available tomorrow at 9:30 AM ET through Lizzie Fortunato’s channels.
