Tedson Motors has distilled decades of German coachbuilding into the Daydream, a restrained but unmistakably radical reimagining of the Porsche 964 and 993. The silhouette remains sacred, those gently rounded proportions, the swept greenhouse, the purposeful stance, but every surface now speaks a new language of contemporary craft.
The transformation runs deeper than visual refinement. Where the original employed steel and glass, Tedson introduces sculpted carbon fibre in bespoke tinted weaves, layered over aerodynamic bodywork that respects classical proportion while sharpening contemporary performance. The brown metallic example shown here wears exposed carbon elements in matching brown tone, a restrained gesture that catches light like silk against cream Nappa leather interior. That interplay between material and hue, between air cooled nostalgia and modern technique, defines the entire philosophy.
Customisation is absolute. Clients select their platform, 964 or 993, then spec colour through Porsche’s Paint to Sample palette, choose carbon weave densities and tints, and commission interior finishes in any leather, Alcantara or textile imaginable. The mechanical soul runs to owner preference: traditional air cooled combustion or full electric power units, each delivering its own interpretation of Daydream.
Only 77 examples will be built across all platforms and powertrains, a deliberate constraint that transforms each car into collectible singularity rather than series production. Every curve honours the air cooled lineage that came before; every detail reflects the hand of craftspeople who understand that modern luxury means precision married to personalisation, never compromise.
