Original Classic Garage resurrects legends in Mougins

The silver bonnet catches the studio light, catching the gleam of chrome and the promise of what lies beneath. Original Classic Garage, nestled in Mougins on the French Riviera, has become the sanctuary for those who understand that some machines deserve resurrection rather than retirement.

The garage’s reputation rests on the exacting craft of restoration. Each project unfolds as a dialogue between reverence and engineering: the team approaches every Ferrari and Porsche that passes through its doors as a conversation with automotive history. Whether a car arrives silent and dormant or merely in need of refinement, the work demands an almost archaeological attention to detail. Original finishes are honoured, mechanical integrity is restored, and each component is treated as both functional element and artistic statement.

What distinguishes this particular practice is the understanding that restoration is not about making cars new; it is about returning them to the moment of their perfection. A Porsche from the 1970s or a Ferrari from an earlier era carries within it the design language and manufacturing intentions of its time. That authenticity, preserved through thoughtful intervention, is what collectors and enthusiasts seek.

The workshop itself embodies this philosophy. The space, glimpsed in carefully composed frames, reveals the precision of the operation: overhead lines frame iconic silhouettes, light plays across polished metal, and the atmosphere speaks of meticulous work conducted without haste or compromise. This is where patient hands and rigorous expertise meet the dreams that drew these cars into being decades ago.

For those who believe that true luxury resides in machines that refuse to surrender to time, Original Classic Garage in Mougins represents not merely a service, but a custodianship.
