Alaïa has distilled its vocabulary to its most essential form for Winter Spring 2027. The Archetypes collection moves between structure and fluidity with the kind of precision that defines the house: a butter yellow jacket with a nipped waist and peplum hem, paired with black culottes that fall to knee length, grounded by deep red accessories that punctuate the simplicity with quiet boldness. The palette is restrained. The silhouettes are architectural yet never rigid, each curve and seam serving both form and movement.
The campaign, photographed by Drew Vickers, finds its focus in the face and the body. There is an easiness in the presentation, a confidence that comes from knowing the clothes work. The styling by Aleksworo and Fabrice Paineau refuses embellishment; the hair is slicked, the makeup minimal, the nails spare. Everything defers to the cut and the garment itself. This is Alaïa at its most eloquent: pieces that need no explanation, only a body and the light.
The collection moves across seasons with the kind of timeless sensibility the house has always pursued. Each piece is built to balance, to hold its own, to move with the woman who wears it. This is not decoration. This is discipline rendered beautiful.
