Reese Cooper’s RCOS has completed its outerwear vocabulary with a down jacket that distils the label’s considered approach to seasonal dressing. In sage green and a striking red, the piece carries the refined details and trim that have defined the brand’s previous work, synthesised into a single quilted silhouette that speaks to utility without sacrifice.

The jacket is filled with premium duck down, its puffy quilted body rising and falling across the torso in geometric panels that catch light and movement with subtle dimensionality. The exterior, rendered in a smooth nylon shell, pairs with weathered linen tones along the shoulders and sleeves, creating a studied contrast between protection and texture. A small embroidered RCOS monogram sits just above the chest, restrained and perfectly placed.

What sets this piece apart, however, is the interior label, a blue woven patch printed with a yellow motif and the words PREMIUM DUCK DOWN in bold capitals, a detail the designer deemed worthy of driving the entire project into being. The label is carefully stitched in among the insulation, a hidden luxury that speaks to the brand’s philosophy: refinement belongs as much to the spaces nobody sees as to those they do.

The down jacket arrives in the current season, ready for the cold months ahead, carrying with it the full language of RCOS design language into a category previously untouched.
