Riva 54Metri: the superyacht that answers its own question
When aspiration becomes reality, the question shifts. Riva's new 54-metre flagship embodies a design philosophy where every line, every deck and every thoughtful detail speaks to those who have already arrived.

Riva’s 54Metri emerges from the water with the quiet confidence of something that needs no introduction. The hull rises in clean, sculptural planes of pale grey and white, each deck a study in proportion and restraint. A Maltese cross flies from the stern, its crimson silk the only decoration the vessel permits itself. Everything else is earned through form.
The design speaks to a particular moment in yachting: when size alone has ceased to impress, and when the measure of a boat becomes the quality of the spaces within it and the intelligence of how they connect. Multiple decks cascade downward from bow to stern, each one a platform for living, not simply showing. The lower platforms dissolve into the sea itself, with teak and stainless steel railings forming gentle barriers between the owner and the infinite blue beyond.
Built by Ferretti Group, the 54Metri draws on generations of Italian yachtmaking craft. The hull’s geometry reduces drag while maximising interior volume, a balance that separates refinement from mere size. Sunbathing areas flow into dining spaces; observation decks connect to tender garages where a smaller vessel awaits. The integration is seamless, almost invisible.
What remains after reaching one’s dreams is often the simplest satisfaction: the perfect place to live them. The Riva 54Metri offers exactly that, stripped of pretence and composed entirely of capability. It asks nothing of its owner except the wisdom to appreciate it.
