Pebble Beach Concours reaches $50 million in charitable giving

The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, that most rarefied gathering where the world’s finest motorcars are judged on the manicured lawns overlooking the Californian coast, has reached a milestone that transcends the beauty of its automobiles: the event has now surpassed $50 million in total charitable giving to the community it calls home.

What makes this achievement particularly resonant is its acceleration. Of that $50 million, $27 million has been distributed in the past decade alone, a testament to the event’s deepening commitment to philanthropy. The 75th celebration, held this past August, proved the most successful year yet for charitable donations, elevating the Concours beyond its reputation as an automotive institution to become something far more meaningful: a force for genuine community improvement.

At The Lodge at Pebble Beach, organisers gathered to honour this milestone and distribute donations to Monterey County not for profit and charitable organisations focused on the health and education of children. Vince Finaldi, the Concours Chairman, reflected on the responsibility this legacy carries. His words spoke of continuity and intention: a determination to deepen and evolve the charitable mission that now defines the event as thoroughly as its celebrated automotive judging.
