LARTE Design has reimagined two contemporary performance SUVs in an exercise of absolute visual uniformity: the 2025 to 2027 Porsche Cayenne and BMW XM, both rendered in matte black dry carbon and positioned as competing visions of aggressive luxury.

The Cayenne, already a masterwork of Porsche’s SUV philosophy, emerges here with sharpened presence. Its muscular lines deepen beneath the matte finish, the hood’s sculptural contours catching light in calculated intervals, while the lower body receives LARTE’s characteristic aerodynamic interventions. The wide stance and purposeful stance speak to refinement through restraint: no gloss, no compromise, only carbon fibre that suggests motion even at rest.

Alongside it, the BMW XM presents a different thesis. The mammoth grille, already a statement of Bavarian confidence, takes on fresh aggression when treated in LARTE’s matte finish. The front fascia widens perceptibly through custom carbon work, while the rear, visible across the campaign’s images, reveals quad exhaust tips and a diffuser that suggests engineering intent beyond mere aesthetics. The red tail lights pierce the darkness like purposeful accent points, a restrained nod to performance lineage.

Both vehicles benefit from LARTE’s signature approach to transformation: the dry carbon is applied not as decorative surfacing but as functional extension of the vehicle’s own language. The matte treatment eliminates reflectivity, allowing the forms themselves to dominate the visual field. Wheels sit deep in each wheel arch, emphasising planted aggression, whilst lowered stance and widened track suggest track readiness beneath their street deportment.

LARTE Design operates from Munich, crafting bespoke aerodynamic solutions for contemporary performance machines. The comparison here serves not as competition but as exploration of how restraint and darkness can amplify presence. Each vehicle becomes a meditation on its maker’s design philosophy, rendered in the same visual dialect yet speaking entirely different languages.
