Gohar World has dressed its beloved Lemon Squeezer Trio in new packaging for the season, swapping the ceremonial moment of opening a gift into something altogether more considered. The green leather presentation box, rich as forest velvet against the season’s reds and golds, cradles three cast metal squeezers: the Fish with its precise scales, the Swan with wings folded in repose, and the Bird poised between them in studied elegance.

The studio’s attention to the architecture of giving runs deeper than aesthetics. Each piece sits precisely in its own depression, the way one might arrange treasured objects on a shelf, and the box itself becomes as much a part of the gift as what lies within. The sequenced reveal transforms what could be a simple functional tool into something ceremonial, even intimate. Opening it feels less like purchasing a kitchen implement and more like receiving a small sculpture that happens to squeeze lemons.

Gohar World has long understood that the objects we bring into our homes carry weight beyond their utility. The Lemon Squeezer Trio, cast in polished metal with the kind of refinement usually reserved for jewellery, belongs to that rare category of kitchen pieces that improve a kitchen simply by sitting on the counter. The new packaging recognises this: it dresses them as they deserve to be dressed.

The green box arrives at the moment when gift giving turns most ceremonial, when thoughtfulness and presentation matter as much as the object itself. For those who understand that the pleasure of a gift extends from the moment one holds the box through the years of use that follow, this is design thinking at its most generous.
