The house’s latest Alta Moda celebrations in Taormina continued that tradition, concluding with an evening at La Plage Resort overlooking Isola Bella, where Jennifer Lopez performed for guests surrounded by the landscape of Sicily.

Set within the Naxos Taormina Archaeological Park, Isola Bella provided a naturally theatrical backdrop. The small island, linked to the mainland by a narrow strip of sand that changes with the tides, sits just offshore from Taormina. Its combination of Mediterranean vegetation, clear waters and rocky coastline gave the evening a distinctly Sicilian character. Rather than functioning simply as a backdrop, the surrounding landscape became part of the evening’s visual composition, with the sea and vegetation framing the stage and reception.

At the centre of the finale was Jennifer Lopez, whose performance brought the celebrations to their close. The singer performed a selection of her best-known songs before introducing an unexpected tribute to Italian music.
