How we report
Our stories draw on official announcements from maisons, manufacturers, auction houses, hotels and institutions, and on our own access to the people behind them. Where a story is based on a brand announcement or another publication’s reporting, we say so and credit the source. We aim to add context, perspective and analysis rather than repeat what has already been published elsewhere.
Use of technology
Our editors use digital tools, including AI-assisted research and drafting tools, to monitor announcements and prepare first drafts. No story is published without being reviewed and approved by a named editor, who takes responsibility for its accuracy and presentation.
Independence and commercial content
Advertising and partnerships are handled separately from editorial decisions. Paid or sponsored content is always clearly labelled as such.
