Fendi Spring/Summer 2027: Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Study in Fluidity and Embroidered Storytelling

Maria Grazia Chiuri has long championed the intersection of precision tailoring and ornamental narrative. At Fendi, her third house collaboration before assuming the creative directorship, she continues to refine this vocabulary through the lens of the forthcoming Spring/Summer 2027 collection.

The collection centres upon two foundational elements: silhouettes that flow with architectural restraint, and embroidered surfaces that command visual attention through graphic articulation rather than maximalist excess.

The Architecture of Ease

Fluid silhouettes have become a hallmark of contemporary luxury—a deliberate counterpoint to the rigid tailoring that dominated earlier decades. Yet at Fendi, the house's Roman heritage and technical mastery ensure that fluidity never reads as shapelessness. Instead, Chiuri's designs appear to move in concert with the wearer, each curve and drape informed by a rigorous understanding of proportion and movement.
