At the easternmost reach of the Maldivian archipelago, where protected barrier reefs shelter whale sharks, reef sharks, sea turtles and stingrays, Aman has established its first destination in the Maldives. Amanolu sits within Vaavu Atoll, one of the nation’s most secluded and untouched regions, occupying a private atoll that marks the boundary between the islands and the open Indian Ocean.

The development pairs a 52-key resort with 16 Aman Residences, each an independent five bedroom sanctuary occupying its own private island. Designed by long standing Aman collaborators KHA and developed by OKO Group, these residences span 1.6 hectares apiece. Every island offers either sunrise or sunset views across uninterrupted horizons; select residences extend from coast to coast, with beaches on both sides and light reaching through from dawn to dusk.

Each residence comprises complete private facilities: a 25-metre swimming pool, dedicated wellness spaces, private beaches and discreet arrival by sea. Residents enjoy access to the broader Amanolu offering, including Arva and Nura Beach Club, a dedicated wellness island housing the Aman Spa and signature Spa Houses, and a recreation island equipped for watersports and marine exploration.

The residences represent an exceptionally limited opportunity for ownership in the Maldives, available through Aman’s enquiry process.
