AYTM’s Curva collection presents a dialogue between two material philosophies, each responding to the same essential form. The question posed by the design house is not one of hierarchy but of sensibility: wire or solid, the skeletal whisper or the weighted statement.

The wire iteration speaks through transparency and rhythm. Parallel steel lines curve in seamless arcs, creating a structure that reads as much as negative space as surface. Light passes through the vertical fluting, casting linear shadows that shift with the hour. The design reveals itself from every angle, and the eye travels unobstructed through its three dimensional geometry. This is minimalism as absence, as restraint, as the elegance of what you choose not to fill.

The solid version inverts this logic entirely. Here the same curved geometry becomes voluminous and tactile, a single piece of formed metal that carries weight and presence. The surface catches light differently, pooling rather than filtering it, suggesting mass and permanence. Where the wire version seems to float, the solid hovers with intention.

Both expressions arrive at the same sculptural destination through opposite routes. Both function as auxiliary tables, occasional surfaces, conversation starters. Both measure the same footprint. Yet their material choices create entirely different conversations with a space, with light, with the hand that might touch them.

Curva sits comfortably within the contemporary minimalist vocabulary that has come to define Nordic design thinking. The collection is available in both interpretations, allowing the user to choose not merely a functional object but a visual philosophy.
