AZNOM has claimed exclusive distribution in Italy and the Principality of Monaco for the eStory, an entirely reimagined electric interpretation of the Citroën Méhari that first redefined open motoring in 1968. Each example emerges from the workshops of eClassic Cars in France as a bespoke creation, crafted by hand and never assembled on a production line. The build process, labour intensive and deliberate, ensures that no two vehicles are precisely alike.

The design philosophy remains tethered to the original’s liberating simplicity. A fully folding capote allows complete open air driving in summer months, while an integrated winter package with heated windscreen and heated seats transforms the eStory into a year round companion. The bodywork sits finished in mass colour, a paint system that resists both weathering and the minor scuffs that plague conventional finishes. Mechanically, the eStory operates from LiFePO4 batteries available in 15 or 25 kilowatt hour configurations, with driving range extending to 187 kilometres or 312 kilometres respectively, recharged from a domestic household outlet.

The chassis frames in anticorrosion aluminium. The bodywork employs ABS PMMA resin, engineered to withstand saltwater and coastal conditions without degradation. This durability extends the eStory’s utility far beyond leisure driving. Agricultural holdings, wineries and resort operations have adopted the vehicle as a practical workhorse, its silent electric motor and compact footprint reaching spaces where conventional automobiles cannot venture.
