BRABUS Marine’s Shadow 1000 XC Cross Cabin arrives at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in Shoreline Grey, marking the flagship’s introduction to the United States market. The colour sits between pearl and slate, its matte finish catching the subtropical light with quiet authority across the boat’s extended cabin and aggressive bow.

Built on the confidence that has made BRABUS’s automotive division legendary, the Shadow range brings German engineering discipline to marine high performance. The 1000 XC designation speaks to capability: a crossover design that marries the speed and handling of a performance cruiser with the living space traditionally reserved for larger yachts. The cabin extends further than its predecessors, sheltering the helm and saloon beneath a hardtop that frames panoramic windows. Below deck, the sleeping quarters and galley absorb the kind of thoughtful interior architecture that transforms time on water from endurance into pleasure.

Steering is immediate. The helm features a binnacle centred with BRABUS’s signature badge, surrounded by the control interfaces that govern twin engines and integrated systems. The throttles respond with the precision that owners have come to expect from a marque built on automotive expertise. Outside, the foredeck opens to a generous space where speed and shelter coexist. The cockpit follows, fitted with seating that faces the water and the horizon beyond.

Shadow 38 models, the entry point to the range, debut alongside the flagship. All share the same fastidious attention to how a boat should feel: responsive, composed, and engineered to make the journey itself the reward.

The Shadow 1000 XC can be seen at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show at Bahia Mar, F/G Dock.
