Cetara brings Italian Saturday brunches to downtown Dubai
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Each Saturday, the Mediterranean restaurant at Address Downtown transforms into a convivial gathering place, where fresh oysters are shucked to order, handmade pasta meets wood fired pizza, and live saxophone mingles with DJ rhythms.

Cetara at Address Downtown has conceived its Saturday afternoon as an extension of the Italian dining philosophy that animates the restaurant itself: unhurried, convivial, rooted in seasoned ingredients and the pleasure of gathering. Each week from one o’clock until five, the space opens to a particular kind of celebration, one that unfolds across courses and conversations rather than minutes.
The brunch moves through antipasti and primary courses of distinction, fresh seafood cooked over timber, handmade pasta and Mediterranean vegetables in their season. Throughout the afternoon, pizza emerges continuously from the oven, its dough worked by hand, its toppings a conversation between tradition and the market’s offerings. The experience finds its visual centrepiece in the live preparation of oysters, shucked and presented before each guest, a small ceremony that speaks to the kitchen’s commitment to immediacy and craft.

The evening’s temperament belongs to the music as much as the food. A saxophonist and DJ set the rhythm, building warmth and motion into the room, the kind of atmospheric orchestration that transforms a meal into something closer to an occasion. Three beverage packages accommodate different preferences: soft drinks and mocktails, premium spirits, or Prosecco, each calibrated to extend the experience according to individual taste.
Cetara takes its name from the historic fishing village on Italy’s Amalfi Coast, and every detail reflects that lineage, from the menu’s sourcing to the room’s carefully considered elegance. Reservations are essential: contact the restaurant on +971 4 436 8888 or dineatcetara@addresshotels.com. Saturday brunch runs from 1pm to 5pm.
