LARTE Design, the Swiss atelier renowned for its kinetic approach to luxury vehicle customisation, has completed two parallel interpretations of the contemporary full size SUV, each expressing a different temperament through sophisticated engineering and material refinement. The Mercedes AMG G63 emerges in a deep forest green, its muscular lines accentuated by LARTE’s signature aerodynamic treatments and a meticulously crafted hood. The Cadillac Escalade V, clad in obsidian black with carefully integrated brown carbon accents, commands presence through its commanding grille and surgically refined front bumper, its rear elevation marked by bespoke tail lighting and a performance focused diffuser.

Engineering meets restraint
What distinguishes LARTE’s work is the refusal to overdecorate. The G63’s deep green finish, paired with refined wheel designs and precision bodywork gaps, speaks to a European sensibility rooted in mechanical purity. Its proportions remain faithful to the original’s architectural language while introducing aerodynamic sophistication that serves function as much as form. By contrast, the Escalade V’s transformation reflects American ambition tempered by Swiss precision. The black exterior provides a canvas for carbon elements that catch light subtly; the diffuser and side treatments suggest performance without theatrical gesture. Both vehicles display LARTE’s hallmark quality: parts manufactured to tolerances that demand respect, surfaces finished to tolerances that demand attention.

Each build represents approximately two years of development within LARTE’s programme, with Elisabeth Lartedesign overseeing the creative direction and engineering collaboration. The G63’s hood architecture required structural reinforcement and aerodynamic profiling; the Escalade V’s bumper integration involved recalibration of cooling flows and sensor positioning. These are not cosmetic exercises but comprehensive reengineering executed with the precision you would expect from a house that treats the automobile as industrial sculpture.
