Malloni’s Nu Rêverie collection balances opposing forces with sculptural precision

Malloni unveiled Nu Rêverie, the FW 26/27 collection, at the iconic setting of 10 Corso Como, a symbolic meeting point of fashion, art, and design. The presentation unfolds as a dialogue between opposing forces: fluid wrapping construction meets architectural tailoring, softness plays against structured geometry. A charcoal wrap blazer drapes with studied ease, its silk bow catching light as it refuses the expected. In the second image, a black tailored jacket anchors an oversized black silk bow, its generous proportions a counterpoint to the precision of the tailoring beneath; a crisp white shirt peeks through, white cuff visible, suggesting the hand that wears it. A third piece, taupe with pinstripe thread running through its weave, sits doubled breasted with weighted buttons, layered over the darkness of what comes beneath.

Malloni revisits its established codes through a modern lens, placing craftsmanship, construction, and material research at the forefront. Nu Rêverie emerges as a reactivation of Malloni’s heritage: not a nostalgic return, but a conscious evolution. Artistic research and sartorial craftsmanship are reinterpreted through sophisticated silhouettes and material driven constructions. The FW 26/27 collection presents a complex, layered womenswear wardrobe, where the quality of materials and the depth of construction become defining elements.

Duality served as the conceptual thread throughout the collection. The collection revisited elements rooted in Malloni’s history whilst placing them in conversation with the present. Familiar references resurfaced with renewed clarity, generating new aesthetic possibilities that reflected the brand’s evolving creative direction.
