Since its origins with master decorators and the film and television industries, Mylands has crafted paint for those for whom colour carries narrative weight. The London house, now led by fifth generation CEO Dominic Myland, draws from archive and contemporary palettes to define how rooms absorb light and intention.

The November Edit reflects this philosophy through six shades that acknowledge the calendar’s turn. Paving Stones emerges as a soft stone neutral, luminous enough to hold space without demanding attention. Stockwell Green sits between sage and olive, the particular green that appears when light leaves the garden at four in the afternoon. Cigar anchors the collection in warm terracotta, whilst the deeper Caca d’Oie adds earthen depth. Pale Bronze carries the metallurgic warmth that bronze holds when weathered by season, and London Brown grounds the palette in chocolate tones that deepen as evening settles.

What distinguishes this constellation of shades is their refusal to compete. Each works as a solitary statement, a single wall drawing an entire room into contemplation, yet they read as a conversation when paired. Stockwell Green against London Brown creates the feeling of a forest floor at rest. Paving Stones softens the richness of Cigar. The collection honours what autumn demands: layers, depth, and the kind of warmth that comes not from brightness but from considered restraint.

The six shades are available through Mylands’ full range of finishes, from matt and eggshell to floor paint and masonry options, allowing the palette to extend from interior walls to exterior facades and living surfaces. Sample pots permit the deliberation these colours deserve.
