Mark Boddington MBE, founder of Silverlining Furniture, has drawn the second collection from his North Wales studio directly from the landscape surrounding it. Reverie emerges from the contours and textures of Welsh terrain, a translation of natural geography into tactile form and considered design.

Each piece in the collection carries a Welsh name, anchoring these objects to their geographical muse. The forms flow with organic intention, echoing the rolling hills and weathered surfaces that define the region. This is furniture conceived not in isolation but in constant conversation with the wild beauty of its maker’s place.

The Reverie collection represents a deepening of Studio SL’s approach to limited edition design, where constraint breeds refinement and specific geography becomes creative language. The work moves beyond mere decoration to become a meditation on landscape translated through line, material and proportion.

Silverlining’s commitment to this regional inspiration results in pieces that carry both visual sophistication and a quietly powerful sense of place. These are objects for those who understand that the most enduring design often emerges from deep observation of one’s immediate surroundings.
