Shibuya Night Brunch arrives at Shochu Lounge every Thursday from 19 November, running from 5pm to 10pm, reimagining the restaurant’s daytime brunch service as an evening affair where the tempo quickens, the lights dim and vinyl takes over from conversation as a resident DJ sets the tone from early evening, with dinner moving seamlessly into drinks around the bar.
Inspired by the electric atmosphere of Tokyo after dark, the experience captures the energy of Shibuya’s nightlife. Descended below street level into the lounge itself, tables fill the dimly lit basement where flowering branches and lacquered surfaces create an intimate setting. The kitchen sends out the same composed plates that made ROKA’s brunch beloved: cedar roast chicken and sushi, alongside cocktails shimmering with colour, their edges frosted or garnished with citrus.
The experience costs £64.50 per person, with an optional drinks package at £25 per person. Reservations are available for Thursday evenings from 5pm to 10pm in Shochu Lounge. An 18 age policy applies. The concept honours the restaurant’s founding principle: friends gathering close around the robata grill, sharing food and the warmth of hospitality, only now the gathering extends into the evening, the chatter punctuated by music and the clink of ice in a glass.
