Shihara has introduced two new designs from its Exclusive Diamond collection, earrings that carry the heraldic geometry of signet rings into miniature form. The Signet Hoop takes the silhouette of a seal ring entire, translating it to the ear, while the Pendant Hoop suspends its stone on a delicate swing. Each design moves differently, catching light through motion rather than through prismatic display.

What distinguishes these pieces is the approach to the diamond itself. Each stone in the Exclusive Diamond collection receives its own individual cut, a cut cornered rectangular form that is cut thin and flat. This technique renders the diamond transparent and refined, allowing the character of the stone to emerge without the usual machinery of brilliance. The craftsmanship extends to the metal: because every diamond is singular in its proportions, the gold hoop is cast one by one from a mould made specifically for that particular stone’s shape. No two pairs are identical.
The earrings are available from November 9, 2026 at Shihara Tokyo, with subsequent availability planned at Shihara Osaka, Shihara Fukuoka, and Shihara Dover Street Market Ginza.
