Tom Dixon’s new Groove collection arrives after more than a decade of research and development. Inspired by art deco designs, Groove is a Tom Dixon outdoor furniture series crafted from premium aluminum with curved, raised ridges. The green sage tones visible in the image echo Moss and Putty shades available in the collection, designed for outdoor settings like terraces, patios, and gardens.
The series comprises chairs, armchairs, stools, and dining tables with raised ridges in elegantly curved line patterns. Crafted from lightweight, corrosion resistant aluminum, the furniture is as durable as it is elegant, making it ideal for outdoor use. Each piece carries Dixon’s refined sensibility toward structure as ornament, the vertical ridging performing dual service as both decorative gesture and reinforcement.
Bell, Tom Dixon’s portable lighting, and Jack complete this thoughtful approach to outdoor living. The designer is reissuing his singular Melt lamp as a portable outdoor fixture, available with a tripod base or leather strap. These moveable pieces liberate outdoor spaces from fixed illumination, allowing light to follow the rhythms of the gathering rather than constraining them to predetermined pools.
The collection reflects what many designers now understand: outdoor furniture need not retreat as temperatures drop. This elegant outdoor furniture collection combines durability, functionality, and timeless style. A carefully composed terrace, even under snow, becomes habitable. Seasons stretch. The garden, rather than closing down, simply changes its mood.
