The Tumi and Kith collaboration transforms the 19 Degree Aluminum collection into something altogether more considered. Three distinct ombré finishes move across the signature ribbed shells, each one rendered in tonal gradations that shift from slate to charcoal to deep burgundy, created through a layering technique that catches light differently depending on the angle of view. The custom monograms sit in matching tones, subtle enough to read as refinement rather than declaration.

The engineering remains recognisably Tumi. The aluminium frames hold their architectural precision, the handles curve with ergonomic confidence, and the interior compartments manage both protection and organisation with the kind of thoughtful geometry that only reveals itself when you open the case. What has shifted is the visual language. Where the collection once spoke primarily in clean metallics and black, these ombré iterations suggest something more nuanced about travel in the contemporary moment, a sophistication that acknowledges both the technical and the sensory.

The smaller cases within the range, designed for watches and accessories, echo the same ombré treatment across their rounded aluminium bodies. Caramel and natural wood interiors contrast with charcoal or dusty pink exteriors, creating an unexpected moment of warmth when the lids spring open. The monogram appears on each, custom to the wearer, a mark of personalisation that feels earned rather than merely applied.
The collection is available now at all Kith shops, on Kith.com, and through the Kith App.
