Vaara, the London activewear studio known for its engineered approach to sportswear, unveils the Mountain Collection, a seasonal offering that tightens the conversation between structure and movement. The line moves across three distinct colourways: a commanding black punctuated by burnt orange accents, a deep crimson that reads almost burgundy against the skin, and a pale rose that borrows from the studio’s signature palette.

The collection speaks to Vaara’s architectural sensibility. A quilted jacket in black water resistant fabric sits at the helm, its construction detailed with sharp seaming and a functional zip pocket rendered in orange that catches the eye with quiet urgency. The piece moves easily from mountain to street, its oversized silhouette designed for layering without bulk. Beneath this sits a sculptural ribbed bodysuit in crimson, its most striking detail a deep cutaway across the back that reveals the spine with considered minimalism. The ribbed knit clings with precision, its three quarter length sleeve finishing at the wrist with the studio’s characteristic attention to proportion.

The final piece in this trio is a structured bra top in rose, its architectural banding sitting firm at the waist while the torso embraces the body with the kind of compression that speaks to hours in design and testing. The back detail here is equally considered: a centre zip runs cleanly, the metal hardware catching light against the pale fabric. This is activewear that doesn’t whisper; it articulates its own form with the precision of someone who has thought very carefully about what a body needs.

The Mountain Collection arrives soon through Vaara’s channels.
