Anya Hindmarch’s Ever After Garden returns to Duke of York Square for its seventh year, transforming the London square into an ethereal nocturnal landscape of 30,000 illuminated white roses. Opening on 5th November and running until 21st December, the installation emerges each evening at 3pm, its white blooms glowing against the darkness in quiet tribute to those who have passed.

The Ever After Garden has become a cherished seasonal ritual, one built on remembrance and the chance to honour loved ones no longer here. Visitors may pre order dedicated roses, which will be planted before the garden opens to the public. Each bloom carries the weight of memory, a luminous gesture of continuity and grace. The entire initiative supports The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, weaving personal loss into collective purpose.

Celia Imrie formally opened the garden this year, lending her presence to an occasion that has grown beyond spectacle into genuine ritual. The installation draws support from Brookfield Asset Management as headline partner, alongside Nationwide Building Society and Cadogan Estate. A constellation of private supporters has helped sustain the Ever After Garden, each contributing to its unfolding each evening from 3pm to 8pm.

Duke of York Square provides an intimate urban setting for such an ambitious installation. The white roses, artificial yet luminous, create an effect part garden, part sanctuary; the scale of 30,000 flowers speaks to collective grief transformed into collective beauty. The garden sits at the heart of Chelsea, accessible and unhurried, inviting strangers into a shared space of reflection.

The Ever After Garden remains open daily through 21st December. Roses can be pre ordered through Anya Hindmarch’s official channels, each dedication a small permanence within the temporary glow of the season.
