Baobab Collection has dressed its winter collection in pure gilt, a trio of scented candles rendered luminous against snow and stone. Ski, Aspen and Likááh each wear 24-carat gold screen printing, their surfaces etched with intricate Alpine scenes: mountain passes, cable cars suspended in cloud, lodge windows glowing warm against drifts.

The designs carry the hand of artist Núria López, layered with decorative motifs that catch light like precious things do. Each candle bears a different portrait of winter retreat. Ski presents symmetrical suns and radiating lines. Aspen layers forest silhouettes across its surface. Likááh frames a cabin wrapped in snow, rendered in crimson and gold against cream.

What distinguishes this collection is the marriage of fragrance and object. These are not merely vessels; they are designed to warm a room both visually and through scent, their aromas chosen to evoke the comfort of alpine evenings. The gold ink gleams across cream coloured wax, drawing the eye inward to the flame within.

Baobab Collection’s craftsmanship lies in this precision: the hand applied screen printing applied with exactitude, the choice of materials refined across decades. The candles sit as small monuments to a particular kind of luxury, one that whispers rather than announces, that belongs equally in a mountain lodge or a city apartment waiting for snow.
The collection brings together photographer Aarón León’s vision of miniature landscapes, stop motion artist Laura Ginés and cinematographer Andreu Pascual to create a campaign that treats these candles as objets d’art. Against white drifts and distant peaks, with toy cable cars and skiers rendered in stop frame animation, the candles become characters in their own narrative of warmth and repose.
