Fragrance and design converge when Baobab Collection becomes the Exclusive Scent Partner at Salon Art + Design New York, creating a multisensory dimension to the annual gathering of collectors, galleries and makers. The opening celebration surrounded guests in the muted light of a modernist interior: pale walls broken by fluted pilasters, arched doorways reflecting in tall mirrors, and the warm glow of sculptural fixtures overhead. Among the conversations unfolding in that elegant space stood vessels in burnished metallics and natural ivory, their sculptural proportions and tactile materials entirely at home in a room devoted to objects of craft.

Three collections define Baobab Collection’s presence through November 8. Sand Siloli arrives in tall cylinders of rose gold and deep green, suggesting the mineral beauty of the Saharan landscape. Stones Marble carries the collection’s characteristic weighty form in pale cream, banded with warm terra tones, while decorative diffuser caps rest atop wooden sticks. The Les Exclusives Aurum line, presented in deep cylindrical vessels with patterned ceramic tops and black labels, brings the house’s most refined aesthetic to the floor. Each piece reads as sculpture before it reveals its function, a philosophy that speaks to the values of those who gather at Salon to celebrate objects that demand attention through form.

The setting amplifies what Baobab Collection has long understood: that scent belongs in spaces of beauty and intention, not as an afterthought but as a core element of how we inhabit a room. On opening night, the fragrance experience became part of the visual narrative, another conversation between craft, design and the way luxury lives in the details.
