Sacha Jafri Honoured in Zayed the Inspirer

For Sacha Jafri, the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed has never been a distant history. It has been, in his own words, the foundation for the last thirty years of his work as an artist. This summer, Jafri joined Zayed the Inspirer, the initiative that celebrates the founding father’s legacy of humility, compassion and wisdom.

Filmed in his studio amid the vibrant canvases that have carried his name around the world, Jafri reflects on a leader who, as he puts it, not only created a nation but forged a legacy that continues to unite people of every faith. It is an ethos that runs through his own practice: an art of reconnection, powered by love, belief and intention.

Having called the United Arab Emirates home for more than two decades, Jafri describes himself as humbled, inspired and forever grateful to live within the vision of an extraordinary man.
