JW Anderson Pimlico has become the setting for GaboritHamiltonRonald, a collaborative artist book conceived by painter Anthea Hamilton, textile and object maker Delphine Gaborit and artist Lewis Ronald. The project unfolds across pages designed to engage with the space itself, where considered objects and conceptual gestures sit alongside photographic documentation and sculptural forms.

The book’s cream pages carry green typography, its binding finished in peach tones that catch the light with understated elegance. Within its covers rest natural forms and drawn marks, each element positioned with deliberation rather than ornament. This is work that respects silence and breathing room, where what is shown matters more than abundance.

Housed within JW Anderson’s Pimlico location, the project carries the distinctive rigour that defines the designer’s approach to curation and space. The gallery functions as both publisher and venue, its architectural clarity of natural wood and measured geometry creating an environment where the book’s conceptual gestures resonate. The three collaborators have created something that operates beyond the traditional boundaries of artist publication, instead functioning as a three way conversation rendered in material form.

The work reflects a particular sensibility: one that privileges the handmade, the precise, and the quietly powerful. Each page unfolds with intention. Each object, whether cast seashell or drawn figure, speaks to questions of form, material and representation that the three artists continue to explore across their individual practices.
