Oris revamped the Big Crown Pointer Date at Watches and Wonders 2025, swapping the fluted bezel and cathedral hands for a smooth polished bezel, pencil handset, arrow tipped pointer, and sporty H link bracelet. Now, the watchmaker applies its oxblood red to this reimagined case, drawing on a storied lineage: the moody red first appeared in the classic coin edge Big Crown Pointer Date back in 2019, slowly becoming one of the most loved dials in the lineup.

The dial presents a 40mm stainless steel case with oxblood red dial that runs deep and rich, standing apart from the pastel shades elsewhere in the collection. The hands have been simplified to pencil shapes with a strip of lume down the centre for nighttime legibility, with Arabic numerals featuring modern, angular typography and thicker lines to improve readability. The oxblood dial is contrasted with bright white hands, indices and dial markings. A triangular red tip on the pointer date hand creates darker tonal contrast.

Power comes from the Sellita based Oris 754, which carries the brand’s signature red rotor. The Big Crown Pointer Date Oxblood is available now directly from Oris as part of the brand’s permanent collection, meaning it is not limited.
