General Motors has opened a new advanced design studio in Pasadena, California, expanding a Southern California design presence that stretches back nearly four decades. The occasion also introduced the GMC HUMMER X, a pair of mid-size electric concepts exploring modular construction, off-road capability, connected technology and more circular approaches to vehicle design.
