A wooden dhow glides across Dubai’s waters as dinner arrives: first a bouillabaisse fragrant with the day’s catch, then braised lamb shank, or a seasonal risotto of artichokes for those who prefer vegetables. The table moves with the vessel, the skyline shifts in the frame, and the moment gains the weight it deserves. This is Lady Nara from November 6th, the reimagined floating restaurant from Nara Hospitality Group, which transforms the traditional dhow cruise into an evening built around the table itself.

Stephanie Reichenbach, the founder, draws the menu directly from her lineage. Her grandfather Joseph Leblanc was born in Cannes, grew up in Nice facing the Mediterranean, and spent his life saving for one idea: a dhow of his own through which to see the world from the water. La Bouillabaisse de Joseph, his signature dish, now anchors the menu aboard Lady Nara. The artichokes come from the family table. The journey comes from his dream. “Joseph’s bouillabaisse has been part of our family table for as long as I can remember,” Reichenbach says. “We want people to come for the food and the company, and to leave having seen a familiar city from somewhere new.”

The evening unfolds with ceremony: a personal welcome as guests board, attentive service as the dhow departs from Jumeira, intimate live music as the vessel passes along the Dubai Canal, and views of landmarks that appear wholly transformed from the deck. Dinner costs from AED 350 per person. Boarding begins at 7:00 pm from Jumeirah Marina Station, with departure at 7:30 pm and return at 10:00 pm. Private charters are available for breakfast, lunch, sunset or dinner. Tables may be reserved now.
