From its Lucerne atelier, Chronoswiss celebrates the mechanical soul of horology through regulator dials, onion crowns and exquisite hand guilloché.
Founded by Gerd Rüdiger Lang.
The Régulateur of 1987 was the world's first serially produced wristwatch with a regulator dial, introducing the onion crown, straight lugs and fluted bezel.
In 1991 the Kairos Chronograph became the first automatic chronograph with a decentralised hour and minute display.
In 2012 Swiss entrepreneur Oliver Ebstein and his family acquired Chronoswiss and moved the house to its atelier in Lucerne.
Since 2014 an in house Guilloché and Enamelling Atelier in Lucerne has crafted the hand guilloché dials of the modern collection.
The onion crown winds and the regulator's long minute hand sweeps the guilloché.
New stories from Chronoswiss arrive here as we publish them, straight from the house.
Every timepiece is best discovered in person: on the wrist, in the hand, and in the company of those who made it.
